Pig Escape, Wrestling Cancelled

GREAT FALLS - A pig wrestling competition which had been due be held in northern Montana is canceled because of the pigs that will be used can’t be arrested.

Event manager Shirley Embleton said that wild pigs were in an area of 10 miles along the Marias River, if only 30 pigs will be caught for the event, on Friday.

But now, the committee is only able to get one tail only, the event was eventually postponed to Saturday.

But still, the committee was not able to find the pigs. As reported by the Associated Press, Monday (08/23/2010).

Embleton said that next year the committee will use a new plan to find and capture the animal was a week early.
