US-Russian Military Relations Resetting

WASHINGTON - Secretary of Defense United States (U.S.) Robert Gates held meetings with his Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov, Wednesday, September 15 local time.
The meeting was conducted as a step to reorganize the military relations between the two countries.

Second Minister of Defence was agreed to expand military cooperation, while Russian Defense Minister visited the Pentagon for the first time in five years.

The meeting that lasted one full day of this, reflect the relationship between former enemies during the Cold War this. This meeting also showed the development of military relations between the two countries continues to increase, since the Americans led by President Barack Obama. Both parties now support each other in the war in Afghanistan and control of nuclear weapons possessed by both countries. But the Washington and Moscow, still have a disagreement over some big issues.
